Doff Slug Trap 2pk

Our classic traditional slug trap for those gardeners who prefer not to use chemical based pesticides. This plastic lidded trap can be baited with any of the following; Yeast Bait, Beer Bait, Honey-Yeast Bait, Beer Batter Bait, Grape Juice. Lettuce, Cabbage, Turnips and Sliced Potatoes. We recommend greasing the inside of trap to prevent slugs climbing out.

For best results place traps at time of sowing before plants are damaged by slugs and snails. Dig a hole the size of the trap base in the area most affected by slugs. Remove the lid and place the trap in the ground ensuring side opening is above ground level. Place your chosen bait inside trap, within 2cm of trap rim. Put the lid back in place and make sure it is secure. Check on the trap regularly and dispose of contents. Once empty, rinse and replenish bait.
