Grow on, planting out when frost risk has passed 23cm (9") apart. Germination 14-21 days. Can also be sown thinly direct outside at a depth of about 6mm (1?4"). Grows best in well drained soil in a sunny position. Do not allow plants to flower if leaves used for cooking.
