Rustins Yacht Varnish Gloss 250ml

Rustins Yacht Varnish gives the greatest durability and protection to marine and other external woodwork as it has been devised with tung oil. Available in gloss and satin finish, an excellent product for exterior door and window frames. Rustins has wonderful grip and will not peel or flake when applied correctly.

Preperation:

• Surfaces to be varnished must be dry, clean, smooth and free from dust, oil, grease and other contaminants.
• Cracks can be filled with Rustins Wood Filler.
• If the wood is open grained Rustins Grain filler may be used before varnishing.

Application:

• Apply by brush.
• The first coat on new wood should be thinned with 25% White Spirit and applied with a good quality brush.

Coats:

• Three coats are recommended but porous end-grain or wood that is badly weathered may need further applications.
